ABB Articulate Robots |
ABB offers an extensive range of 6 axes articulate robots for a wide variety of industry application. Depending on the robots' models, the ABB articulate robots may include the following features or options:
|
- Mounting options, such as floor, wall or suspended;
- Specially designed for foundry, clean room or washing application where the mechanical arms are completely IP67 protected, corrosion resistance and tightness, special surface treatment, compliant to clean room class 10 regulations;
- Collision detection to reduce the collision force;
- Electronic stabilized path so that the robot will maintain its planned path to its best capability when accelerating or dragging;
- Communication capabilities include serial links, network interfaces, PLC, remote I/O and field bus interfaces;
- Safety features including active brake system, passive safety features like moveable mechanical stops and double safe position switches;
- Adaptable to true payloads through self tuning;
- Faster versions where 2 axes (1 and 2) are predominantly used to reduce cycle time;
- Internal dressing;
