 COMAU Articulate Robots

The COMAU articulate robotic family consists of an anthropomorphic structure with 6 degrees of freedom. While differing in terms of payload, work area and maximum reach, all robots share the same basic characteristics. The COMAU articulate robots use AC brushless motors and incorporate brake and encoder. The robot axes are equipped with software limit stop (programmable) and/or mechanical shock absorber stops. The strokes of the main axes can be limited by means of additional mechanical shock absorber stops, according to specific application requirements.

There are some applications specific features that are optional or may have already incorporated in some models of COMAU articulate robots:
  • Offer "spot by spot" or "trajectory control" programming;
  • Incorporate a spot welding dressing thus eliminating the need to incorporate external devices;
  • Hollow wrist so that the bundle of hoses and cables can be housed in the forearm. As a result, this allows simple and reliable off-line programming, simple installation and less maintenance;
  • Special P (PRESS) version designed for the handling of pressed parts along press lines;

 Denso Articulate Robots

The Denso ultra compact articulate robots (VP-Series) offer the highest speed and lowest repeatability in their class. Their compact, 160 x 160 mm footprint saves facility space and makes integration easy.

The Denso VS-Series articulate robots combine high speed and low repeatability with powerful load-handling capability. They have a 5 kg maximum payload capacity and a maximum allowable moment of inertia (0.295 kgm² at J4 and J5, and 0.045 kgm² at J6). The medium-size Denso VM-Series articulate robots offer high speed and low repeatability along with large load-handling capability. They have up to 10 kg maximum payload capacity and a maximum allowable moment of inertia (0.36 kgm² at J4 and J5, and 0.064 kgm² at J6). Because of the large payload capacity, both articulate robots enable flexible end-effector designs, thus, allow to use in a wide range of applications.

 Epson Articulate Robots

The EPSON Pro Six family of 6-axis articulate robots equip with PC based controllers, are designed to fit a variety of applications with distinct requirements such as high speed, low vibration, higher payloads, more reach, or other special environment. All Pro Six 6-Axis articulate robots feature brakes on all axes and most models have the flexibility of being mounted in table top, wall or ceiling configurations.
