 Our Robots' Definition

We boldly define robot as "Human make semi or fully autonomous (self controlled) object or cooperating objects (with common objectives) with intelligence and is/are programmable". We do not impose constraints on type and structure of an object though a physical presence is mandatory to effect the physical environment. This means an object does not necessary in mechanical structure but can be created through other means such as chemical. Thus, cyborg, is included as a type of robot. Cyborg is used to designate a creature which is a mixture of organic and mechanical parts. Generally, the aim is to add to or enhance the abilities of an organism by using technology.

By this definition, movable machines, such as cars, are not "Robot". Though many new cars have a "brain" or a computer, but it's not programmable - you control most elements in the car directly by way of various mechanical devices. Whilst, on the other hand, future cars - autonomous vehicles are robots.

Similarly, because computers in their physical nature - computers don't have a physical body attached to them to change or manipulate the environment.
