• Automatic Stair Avoidance System: includes infrared sensing, so when traveling, roomba emits an infrared signal and checks to see if it bounces back. If the signal does not bounce back, roomba quickly recognizes that it is approaching a cliff, and safely turns away.
• Virtual Wall Units: by creating an infrared barrier, virtual walls confine roomba to the space where you want them to clean. Block off open doorways, larger rooms or areas you just don't want roomba to go.
