Lynxmotion Lynx 6 Robotic Arm

The Lynx 6 robotic arm delivers fast, accurate, and repeatable movement. When equips with appropriate control software, it offers advanced inverse kinematics control using mouse or joystick. The complete Lynxmotion Lynx 6 Robotic Arms comprises the followings:

  • Lynx 6 Satellite Arm Kit
    • The robotic arm is made from ultra-tough laser-cut Lexan structural components, black anodized aluminum servo brackets, and custom injection molded components. The arm assembly has ball bearings for improved accuracy. The robot features; base rotation, shoulder, elbow, wrist motion, wrist rotate, and a functional gripper.
    • The Lynx 6 robotic kit includes also Hitec HS-422, HS-475HB, HS-85BB and HS-81 servos.
  • SSC-32 Servo Controller
    • The SSC-32 servo controller is a 32 channels of 1uS resolution servo control. The SSC-32 servo controller provides bidirectional communication with Query commands, Synchronized, or "Group" moves, 12 Servo Hexapod Gait Sequencer, MiniSSC-II emulation, and more.

  • RIOS / SSC-32 Arm Control Software
    • RIOS (Robotic arm Interactive Operating System) is a Windows 95/98SE/2000/XP program for controlling the L5 and L6 Robotic Arms with the SSC-32. With RIOS, your robot can be taught sequences of motion via the mouse or joystick. This extremely powerful program uses external inputs to affect the robot's motion for closed loop projects. External outputs can also be controlled.

 ROBONOVA-I Humanoid Robot

The ROBONOVA-I can walk, run, do flips, cartwheels, dance moves and once programmed, is ready to compete in any Robo One Class "J" competition. The ROBONOVA-I has two versions; a robot kit for you to build and assemble robot yourself, or a pre-assembled "ready to walk" robot.

This fully articulating, 12" high, mechanical man is controlled with 16 powerful Hitec HSR-8498HB digital servos.

The control board is the heart of the ROBONOVA-I. It can operate up to 24 servos and 16 accessory modules. Optional devices will eventually include gyro's, acceleration sensors, speech synthesis modules and operational devices such as Bluetooth controllers and R/C transmitters and receivers.

The custom gold anodized metal servo brackets serve as strong and lightweight exoskeleton. ROBONOVA-I also features durable plastic body case components that protect the control board and battery from damage.

Powering the ROBONOVA-I is a 5 cell, environmentally friendly NiMH rechargeable battery that delivers around 1 hour of operational time.
